Yes, in fact this coaching skills program is perfect for new managers. This is a foundational course, which provides you with the fundamental skills that are needed to empower team members.
Do you cover coaching models like GROW or OSKAR?
No, these are advanced coaching models, which we cover in an advanced coaching skills course. We recommend though that if you are interested in advanced coaching but are new to management, you do this course before booking on our advanced coaching skill workshop.
I’m doing the team leader development program, should I enroll on this course?
No, this course is part of the team leader development program. However our advanced coaching is separate from that, and you might want to book on that one once you’ve finished the 8-week team leader development program.
I’m not a manager yet. Could I still benefit from this course?
Absolutely! We believe that leadership skills are not just for leaders. Senior contributors and aspiring team leaders should be using coaching skills regularly, to signal their readiness for moving into leadership. Build the skills early and watch your career prospects grow.

We may send out some pre-work and it would take you a maximum of 30 minutes.

Typically the sessions are not recorded to protect learner privacy. If you need a recorded option for an in-house delivery, talk to us about arrangements.

A stable internet connection, a webcam and microphone so you can participate in discussions and breakout work. We use a standard video conferencing platform — details provided on booking.
Will I get a certificate or CPD hours?
Participants receive a completion note and the practical materials. If you require a CPD statement, we can provide a record of learning hours on request.
What if I need help after the course?
We offer follow-up coaching and bespoke support if you want help implementing the coaching skills that you’ve learned. We want you to know you’re not alone!
